3 Reasons Essential Oils are Awesome

I hope y'all know just how hard it was for me to choose just 3 reasons why EO's are awesome.

Because there are like SO MANY REASONS, but I know we all have things to do so I'll keep it to my favorite 3.

In no particular order here we go.

1. The DIY potential is endless. Like endless, endless. You can seriously make so many things, y'all. And with the holidays quickly approaching this is something you are going to want to look into. From at home spa products to crafts with the kids, there is seriously something for everyone.

2. They're for the whole family. Headache? I got you. Belly ache? I got you. Restlessness? I got you. Germs? I got you. Whatever anyone in the family needs, I got them. And I love that I don't have to worry about if they're filled with icky ingredients or not.

3. They bring all the amazing benefits of nature right to you. Nature is kind of amazing, y'all. And I'm a true believer that the good Lord equipped us with all the...

Essential Oils & Meditation

Sandalwood

Let's talk meditation. This is something that I am constantly trying to work on and improve. And to be honest, most days it's soooo hard to stay focused when you have a thousand things going on.

So, how can we improve our mediation?

Well, who would have guessed that I would say "essential oils"?!?

But seriously, oils have the ability to transform your meditation space. And the good news is that there are lots of great oils to choose from!

I've included my top ten meditation oils. And a tip? Choose the same oil as often as you can when you meditate. Specific scents will often transport your mind. And if you associate a certain oil with meditation it can help make meditation easier.

The best way to use oils during meditation can be topically or in a diffuser, or both! I'm a big fan of both.

Alright, so which oils are the best for meditation?

1. Frankincense

Frankincense is one of the most sacred essential oils for spirituality.  Frankincense helps to...

Spotlight: Ylang Ylang

Seriously one of my FAVORITE oils ever. This oil is know to calm and soothe. You can diffuse, apply topically, inhale, or take internally under tongue or in a capsule.

It blends well with sandalwood, bergamot, and frankincense. It's known for it's hypotensive, aphrodisiac, antipasmodic, and sedative properties.

You will find this oil in our focus blend, calming blend, joyful blend, women's monthly blend, and women's blend.

Some of it's top uses are for hormone imbalance, low libido and impotence, equilibrium and mental fatigue, high blood pressure and heartbeat issues, anxiety, frustration, stress, fear, colic, stomach aches, oily skin and emotional balance.

Woah, right?

What's your favorite way to use Ylang Ylang? And is there an oil you'd like for me to feature in the future? Let me know!
