Resolution 3: Bedtime Routine with Essential Oils

Hey ya’ll!!  It’s week 3 of our resolutions!!!  How’s it going so far?  

Have you been able to use one oil a day for the last 14 days?  I have!!

Let's get to our 3rd Essential Oil Resolution. 

ESTABLISH A BEDTIME ROUTINE USING ESSENTIAL OILS. 

Essential oils are an amazing way to close out your day.  They help you wind down from a hard day…  Diffuse in the air, or rub on your feet, or down your spine at night for tons of health benefits while you sleep.  

Below are some ways that you can use essential oils at bedtime… 

Take an essential oil bath.  Baths are a great way to release stress, tension, and toxins from your body.  Add some epson salts and your favorite oil to a warm bath and relax.  Baths are a great way to help kids unwind before bed.  

Apply a massage oil containing essential oils.  I apply oils to my kids every night for a great night’s sleep that releases the mind and body.  

Use an essential oil linen spray.  I love using a linen spray. It makes me so happy and my bed smells amazing.  Plus my sleep is amazing!! 

Restful Linen Spray Recipe: In a glass spray bottle combine,

  • 30 drops of Lavender oil
  • 1 TSP Witch Hazel
  • Water

Diffuse essential oils while sleeping.  For me this is the easiest way to use oils at night.  I diffuse oils in both my room and all my kids’ rooms, we can’t sleep without them. 

Restful Sleep Diffuser Blend:

  • 1 drop Breathe oil
  • 2 drops Lavender oil
  • 2 drops Frankincense oil
