Today I want to finish my series with some oil recommendations for common labor and post-delivery symptoms.
Afterbirth/placenta delivery- clary sage, geranium, jasmine, lavender.
Bleeding- geranium, helichrysum, myrrh.
Calm nerves, relax mind- basil, frankincense, lavender, calming blend, encouraging blend, grounding blend.
Contractions, slow/weak/stalled labor- cinnamon, clary sage, fennel, jasmine, lavender, myrrh, detoxification blend, encouraging blend, grounding blend, joyful blend
Pain- cypress, lavender, marjoram, soothing blend, tension blend.
Clogged Milk Ducts- fennel, lavender, patchouli, cleansing blend
Depression/postpartum- bergamot, clary sage, frankincense, geranium, grapefruit, lavender, lemon, myrrh, roman chamomile, sandalwood, vetiver, wild orage, ylang ylang, calming blend, comforting blend, cellular complex blend, detoxification blend, grounding blend, invigorating blend, joyful blend, reassuring blend, women's blend.
Increase Milk Supply- basil, clary sage, dill, fennel, geranium, jasmine, lavender, lemongrass (avoid nipple area if applying topically); *avoid peppermint or blends with peppermint as it DECREASES milk supply,
Sore Nipples- frankincense, lavender, roman chamomile, detoxification blends.
Thrush- clary sage, dill, fennel, frankincense, lemon, melaleuca, wild orange.
